The Hotel Athmos from A to Z

Arrival/Departure (Check-In/Check-Out): Rooms are available from 2pm to 9pm. On your departure, we kindly ask you to leave the room until 11:00 am. Late check-out may be possible on request with additional charges.

Hotel access outside opening hours: Keep the room key and use the access code to open the hotel entrance door outside opening hours. The Digibox is located to the left of the hotel entrance.

Express departure: In case you request an early or fast check-out, we ask you to pay for your stay the day before your departure. Thanks in advance.

Payment possibilities:

-        Cash CHF / Cash EUR (payment in EUR only in banknotes and return change only in CHF possible).

-        Credit Card: Visa, MasterCard and American Express, Maestro, Postcard or TWINT.

-        Debit Card: Maestro/EC-Direct, PostCard, V-Pay.

VAT/Taxes: Included in the room rate.

Do not disturb: If you do not want to be disturbed, we kindly ask you to leave the “Do not disturb” card outside your door.

Room-cleaning: We thank you to leave the green card “Please clean the room” whenever you would like your room to be serviced. Service is provided until 1:00 pm.

Save the planet: The pollution control and waste management are essentials. We can help to reduce the pollution, to hand over a nature more preserved to the future generation. That is the reason why we change your sheets every three days and the towels every day on request. If you want clean towels, place them on the floor. In addition, we ask you to switch off the lights and the TV when you leave your room. Thank you for your cooperation for a better future.

Swiss plug: Charging your computer, mobile phone or razor? Ask for an adapter at reception. Deposit fee: CHF 10.00/EUR 10.00 cash (you will get it back after returning the adapter).

Telephone: Please read the guide next to the phone.

Radio: All our televisions have a radio.

Coat hangers: In case you would like more hangers, just ask the reception during the opening times.

Beverage-service: during the reception opening time. Please contact the reception.

Pets: Small animals are accepted at the hotel with an extra charge of CHF 10.00 per animal/per day (without food).

Pillows and supplement coverage for your comfort? Would you prefer a special pillow? We offer ergonomic and allergy-free pillows. Please contact the reception during the front office opening time.  

Bathrobes: Do you need a bathrobe during your stay? Do not hesitate to ask for a bathrobe at reception during the opening hours (CHF 10.00 per rental).

For your security / EGS service: During the night (reception closed) the EGS-service is on duty. Please dial the number 500 and your call will be automatically redirected. This service is only responsible for emergencies, otherwise any requests will be processed again from 7.00 am the next day.

Video surveillance: Our hotel is on video surveillance 24h/24h.

Emergency exit: Please follow the evacuation plan posted in your room, on the back of the entrance door and the signs in the corridors.

Cigarettes: It is strictly forbidden to smoke inside the building, any room or public area. In case of noncompliance, we will charge extra cleaning penalty of CHF 200.00.

Smoke detector: All our rooms are equipped with a very sensitive smoke detector. We thank you for not smoking in the room.

Silence: Please respect your roommate and other guests between 10:00 pm and 7:00 am. Please regulate the sound of your television to an appropriate volume and speak softly.

Athmosphère Lounge bar: Our lounge bar on floor (E) is available to you free of charge as a work area. A pleasant atmosphere in front of the fireplace with a view of Avenue Léopold Robert awaits you every day from 1.15pm to 9.30pm.

Luggage deposit: You can leave your luggage free of charge at the reception. We help you transporting your luggage to/from your room to the reception. Cost: CHF 3.00 per way/per luggage (exception for disable guests).

Parking: We have private parking spaces, accessible to cars only, at a cost of CHF 12.00 per day (available from 2pm on the day of arrival until 12am on the day of departure). These spaces cannot be reserved. Please ask the front office to received a parking permit and access code on arrival, in exchange of a deposit of ID or CHF 50.00 / EUR 50.00 in cash.

Internet-Wireless: You will find a free access code in your writing folder or at reception.

Kiosk: Are you missing a toiletry? Various items are available at front office during opening hours or in the snack vending machine.

Did you forget your umbrella? Available at the reception during opening hours.

Do you need a Fridge? Please ask the reception during the opening hours (rent: CHF 5.00 /per day)

Wake-up calls: You can set an alarm clock on your television. Would you still like a personalised alarm clock as soon as reception opens? Please inform reception before 9pm the day before.

Shoe cleaning machine: Available in the hotel lobby.

Sewing kit: Available at the reception during the opening time.

Snacks -machine: Available at the reception desk (only CHF coins).

Laundry: We'll wash and iron your clothes within 48 hours. You will find the price list and the bags in your wardrobe. Please return it to reception before 9:00 am.

Ironing: We have a room at your disposal on the 1^st floor. Please ask the reception for the key during the front office opening time. For security reasons, it is forbidden to iron in the room.

Photocopies: Please ask at the reception during the opening times. CHF 0.50 per copy.

Messages: The reception transfers your messages during the opening times.

Buffet Breakfast: CHF 18.00 per person/per day 

Served daily in the Atmosphère lounge (floor E) from 7:00 to 10:00 am. If you have not pre-ordered breakfast, you can request it before 8pm on the day of arrival.

Continental breakfast in you room (to be ordered until 8pm the day before) :

CHF 18.00 per person/per day, from 7.00am to 10.00am. Included: 1 hot beverage, 1 orange juice, 1 piece of bread, 1 croissant, 1 confiture, 1 butter and 1 fruit.

Any additional room services will be charged.

Food Allergies: If you have any allergies, please inform us one day before your arrival and we will do our best to provide another selection of items.
